When you reach a verified 1000 Subscribers on youtube you will notice a new feature called channel mentions. The first thing you will notice is that inside the youtube native app inside the inbox there will be a tap with “Mentions” – This area will show you the latest mentions your channel has within the last 30 days. At this point, you still will not be able to mention channels from creator studio desktop until the 1 week verification time of hitting 1000 subscribers.
After the week of waiting, you will then be able to @channelname in the title or description box of your videos to tag another creator in your videos. This “Mention” will allow the other creator with over 1000 Subscribers to see the notification in their Mentions inbox.
