Exciting progress is being made at the gridside property! Initially, our focus was on various aspects such as the well, electrical setup, and internet connectivity, along with several smaller tasks. However, our plans took a turn, prompting us to rethink our approach. Fortunately, we managed to secure a Bobcat T740 track steer on a weekend rental from a local company called Pristows Equipment Group. I’ve had a longstanding relationship with them, ever since they supplied me with some of my first Stihl equipment when I bought my first home 15 years ago. They not only sell equipment but also maintain an extensive fleet available for rent.
When the opportunity arose, despite battling through some rain, we successfully cleared a little over an acre of land to kickstart our gridside construction.
